The problem

The problem

A Gold Coast skin clinic was running a tired identity stitched together over five years of ad-hoc work. The old site treated imagery as decoration and policy as an afterthought, leaving the principal to redline cosmetic copy site-wide every few months.

02
The constraint

The constraint

Cosmetic clinic brands that treat imagery as page-level decoration get redlined every quarter — every campaign re-litigates patient-imagery rules. Imagery policy belongs at the brand-kit layer, scoped before page design begins. AHPRA's 2024 cosmetic guidance and TGA s.42DLB define the envelope; designing inside it from day one is what stops the principal redlining cosmetic copy site-wide every few months.

03
The approach

The approach

We rebuilt brand and site as one artefact, with imagery policy written into the kit before a single page was wireframed. Editorial photography of the rooms, instruments and clinical detail replaced the patient-led set. Voice patterns were locked at the spine so cosmetic procedure pages couldn't drift comparative.

The outcome

The outcome

Identity and site relaunched in four weeks, brand to live. The kit has carried two seasonal campaigns and one new procedure category since launch without a redline. Clinical photography library now covers 14 service areas and is reused across paid and organic.
